New Location ~ Santa Monica

We are happy to announce that Southern California Tango Championship & Festival found a new home. The event will be held at Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club. This is a historic building that offers a lot of beauty and charm. For almost 100 years, many important events have been held here including Adele’s concert in 2012.

The Clubhouse works its magic from the moment you step through its doors, which feature antique stained glass transoms. This space is a two story building with maple floors. Graceful twin staircases lead to the upper balcony and beautiful dance room, while the original maple floors continue into the spacious main ballroom. Upstairs, the wide balcony affords a view down to the ballroom floor and stage. This space, both downstairs and upstairs, has many windows which creates a lot of natural sunlight during the day.

The clubhouse is located in the heart of Santa Monica, four blocks from the beach (Ocean Avenue) and one block from the world famous 3rd street promenade. This venue is in easy walking distance of many Santa Monica’s finest hotels and restaurants.

Join us March 10-12, 2023 for another magical SCTC!! After a 3 year break we are coming back with lots of new energy and excitement. Be inspired and get ready for an unforgettable event!
